Escapism is OKAY. I know every day lately brings another insane headline, but you HAVE to rest your mind.

The human brain wasn't meant to process the overload of information we're used to now.

DO NOT feel guilty for protecting your peace. Ever.

The internet had led to the false assumption that being exposed to atrocities every single day on social media is a good thing and meant to empower people, when all that's going to do is burn people out.

Protecting your safety is just as important as donating to organizations to help the cause

How are those playing Re9uiem think of it so far?

I won’t even lie that I earnestly thought something like this would happen. I felt it in my fucking bones, and now I’m fucked. Grade A/S/O fucked.

Also, the lighting is off in some areas in the beginning of the game. I’m sure it can be fixed in a patch.

And when it’s dark, it’s fucking dark. I had to open up the map to see where the fuck I was because I couldn’t see shit. I had that same issue in some parts in SILENT HILL 2 Remake.

I don’t necessarily consider this a spoiler, but for the sake to those who want to experience it first-hand, I’ll tag it as such:

After the basic enemies mutate, they somewhat resemble the Clickers from The Last of Us (if you know, you know).

Just some quick initial thought on Re9uiem as I’m 3 hours in (according to the PSN Home Page):

This game is exceptional; the guns feel weighty and the SFX is incredible.

It’s not *as* scary as previous games (imo) but there’s some horror elements in here.

Resident Evil Requiem

This game is exceptional. I’m loving it.

They look like cosplayers. However, I’ll wait for a trailer for further judgement.

It’s definitely real. Although I hate to admit it, I do wish it was AI.

I may be in the minority when I express that I would’ve wanted to experience what they’ve shown prior to release first-hand.

I’ve seen accounts on YouTube with Part I of Re9uiem and it’s taken everything in me NOT to watch any of it.

I know “it’s just a RE game,” but this is a brand-new entry to the series and I’ll be damned if I get any of it spoiled.

After getting a second opinion, I’ve been told it’s okay to have the day off.

Just under 6 hours until I’m fully consumed in the game that is Resident Evil Re9uiem.

I have a strong feeling not only will this be different from past installments, but among the best in the franchise.

It just dawned on me that not only did we recently get a State of Play without Marvel’s Wolverine, but this out-of-the-blue release date drop didn’t even come with new footage.

I have a sneaky suspicion this is PlayStation trying to make the public forget about what happened to Bluepoint.

This is my Niece currently. She only plays Fortnite. And to her credit, she’s damn good. But I can’t deny it drives me crazy when that’s all she wants to play despite the volume of other games I know she would love to play.

I’m definitely not complaining. 😉

Completely unexpected. Hopefully a gameplay reveal soon!
