I'm not even going to pretend that I'm anything close to a 3 Doors Down-fan, but this song is peak nostalgia for me, and losing a part of your childhood always sucks (47 is way too young of an age to go at, especially from something as vile as cancer)

Also bought the original version of Night Falls Over Kortedala on CD (he had found 100 copies in his attic and decided to sell them on the tour) which I got him to sign, one of the most likable artists I've ever personally met

Man, what a show it was. Top-notch musicians and having someone narrate the set between every few songs was also cool touch and helped me appreciate the story of his latest album more (even one of my least favorite songs on the album was amazing live).
