Writing dialogue that does sound like a character's voice. There is so much backspacing and reworking - especially with quieter characters - but when I finally write a line that I can hear in my head with the VAs voice, and it sounds like something they would say? That's the good stuff

28 - for me writing, I tend to write canon compliant fics, and I get really neurotic about being canon compliant. Youtube playthroughs are my friend to double check tiny details lol. Love to read both canon and AUs though!

25 - kind of dreading writing the upcoming canon plot points for Private Lessons. I don't want Vrtra to be so sad about his sister!! 🥲

14 - oh god, complimenting yourself is so hard 😅but I like that I focus more on the emotional growth of characters. Canon can give them tons of plot, but I want to give them some time to breathe and process all those feelings that the plot undoubtedly causes

27 - I don't really think there's a question I feel a need to answer about my fics; I'm just always very grateful and appreciative that people read and enjoy them!!

24 - the current writing goals are finishing up some fics - the current fic for the Rosewater zine and then circling my way back to some ffxiv fics (like Private Lessons)

21 - in my ffxiv fics, I sometimes work the job ability names into a descriptive section, like "he pictured them embraced on sacred soil" with Sacred Soil as one of the Scholar abilities; I'm lowkey obsessed with sneaking game abilities/language into lyrical descriptive passages

19 - I really only work on one fic at a time, it's part of what takes me so long! 🥲

28 - canon or AUs - I usually lean towards writing canon or very slight canon divergence; but I love reading both canon and AUs

40 - happy or sad endings - happy endings!! Very rarely will I write a sad ending, I definitely want the characters to have a happy or hopeful ending

I'm usually very shy on here, but going to try to be brave!!
