Every choice they made on set and in post made the movie look like it wasnt made in 2023 but rather the late 90's early 2000's

And the thing is you can make movies and tv shows look gross but also great when matched with the right lighting LUTs and lenses.

Case and point. The creator. Shot with 1930's anamorphic lenses lighting inspired by alien & used LUTS on set that captured the gross grimy vibes they were going for.

Predator badlands is what The ip should of been doing after the first movie. You learn more about the predator race in this movie then all of the pass movies combined. dan trachtenberg brought the franchise into a god damn renaissances. 4.5/5

when ever I see a movie that is flat gray & colorless, people blame that on digital cameras. (film suffer the same fate these days). I get really annoyed. So anything I shoot. I ramp up the contrast and colors as much as I can with out destroying the image.

LOG Doesnt compress Dynamic Range it's getting the most amount of dynamic Range as possible. Trust me I know what Im talking about. I shot these in Log on the osomo pocket three. I wouldnt of been able to push the limit of the censor to it's maximum if I didnt shoot in log.
