There are very few in the land of spice who even remember the name of Burning Spice’s lost lover, one who had been cast away when the Beast was imprisoned for thousands of years. Even the murals and monuments dedicated to heyr had faded and cracked with old age, much like the one shown here. In a loving embrace, smiling, the pair can be seen in a happy moment despite the dark ambience and destroyed walls beside them. Perhaps it’s crumbling is a sign that he should forget and move on, accept shey could be gone forever. But stubbornness was one of his defining traits.

Anyway I like to imagine there being art and murals dedicated to Swirl when shey had been by BS’ side as the Herald of Change,, and I might design more if I get the motivation

Burning Spice’s back is faced toward the viewer, long hair cascading down his muscled back. Cinnamon Swirl sits upon a bed, wearing only heyr underwear, and holds up a playboy bunny outfit as shey says, “Why don’t we try something new tonight~?” Immediately, he is intrigued, always looking to make their bedroom antics interesting. From the looks of it though, there’s no way the outfit could fit heyr.

Burning Spice leans downwards to inspect the choice of clothing, sharp teeth peeking from his grin. Cinnamon Swirl looks up at him as he does so, smile almost innocent and deceptively so. With a raised brow, he asks heyr, “Now which of us will be adorning this cloth?” He continues in the next speech bubble. “It is much too big to be fitting yo-“ He stops though.

His face and smile falls, eyes widening and pupils turned to slits as he finally realizes heyr intentions. His hand drops the outfit just as Cinnamon Swirl’s face turns smug at the sight of his realization. Looks like he has no choice but to do as his wife wishes. Wouldn’t want to disappoint heyr.

I rushed to make this before Easter ended and of course forgot to post it

Shadow Milk and Burning Spice seen in the void of the silver tree. BS is sitting and slumped over, feelers drooped as he sighs almost longingly, a dark aura surrounding him. SM is staring at him concerned(yet also confused by the destroyers sudden change in mood).

Burning Spice’s expression is now shown, tired and frustrated. Stewing in his thoughts, he mutters out, “I miss my wife, Shadow Milk.” Said cookie is in the back, floating and staring at him confused. In two separate thought bubbles, Cinnamon Swirl Cookie is seen expressing affection and making treats. Shey is wearing traditional clothing, unlike the attire shey has been seen wearing currently. This could hint that shey has known burning spice cookie before the current events in crk. Especially considering how he calls heyr his “wife”.

As BS continues mumbling and grumbling, Shadow Milk turns to Mystic Flour Cookie, whispering to her, “He has a wife?” The pale cookie only shrugs, expression blank as always.

Wearing a ragged cloak over heyr dress, Cinnamon Swirl Cookie’s face flushes as shey splutters out in surprise. “What- Cute?? You think I’m cute????” Shey seemed to momentarily ignore the fact he had called heyr friends ‘thieves’.

Smoked Cheese Cookie interrupts whatever moment they had, yelling out “Such nonsense!!” at the beast’s words. Burning Spice Cookie is unamused by the interruption while Cinnamon Swirl Cookie yells back with an angry expression.
