Anyone kind enough to write up a comparison/contrast on how the US DoD and UK MoD are organized? My contribution is that, to my knowledge, UK civil servants don’t need parliamentary approval to assume positions analagous to the Deputy SecDef and Under/Assistant SecDefs need Senate approval.
