School starts four weeks from today. My kiddo is not ready, and neither am I. Can't believe it will be the last year of elementary school. To put it in perspective, in-person schooling for her Kindergarten year was delayed three weeks because of the pandemic.

I have a household of eight college students, and they all caught a Get to Work illness within minutes of each other. Would be realistic if we're talking about something highly contagious like a stomach virus, but I don't think they all even caught the same illness.

I think EA needs to tune the Get to Work illnesses along with the Ailments. For one thing, vampires shouldn't get sick.

Had my first Microsoft Teams meeting at work that included an AI participant. It was an AI note taker bot. I'm a software developer, but even still I was uncomfortable with an AI in the meeting.

Before she died, she also got the Unpredictable romance dynamic with her boyfriend because her High Maintenance trait made her pick random fights with him. But that dynamic fits both their personalities so well.

I know I can turn emotional deaths off with MCCC, but I like the randomness of it....except when it happens to my favorite Sims, lol.

My Sim has the High Maintenance trait, so she gets Angry for no reason at times. Couple that with living in an apartment with noisy neighbors, and bam she dies of Cardiac Explosion at the age of 18. I care about her too much, so I exited without saving.

Went for a Swedish massage yesterday, but my therapist ended up doing deep tissue because my hip joints were tight, and I've been feeling sick to my stomach ever since. She must have gotten my lymph nodes too and they probably had a ton of gunk in them. 🤢

I like the True Blood lore that vampires are intoxicated by fairy blood, but EA had to put in logic that makes Fairies dislike vampires. I hope changing her doesn't tank their relationship. They have high compatibility and attraction, and when I had Jane Simsten's mod in, they were also soulmates.

Stefan and River are one of my favorite couples. While he's a vampire and she's a human, she's always had a mystical feel to me. So, the Mystical trait in the new pack will be perfect for her, and I also want to turn her into a fairy.

For masc MM hair, JohnnySims is my go-to. For fem hair, I love QuirkyIntrovert. They have a lot of hairstyles for 4C texture which is important to me. For both masc and fem, I love SimsTrouble and AHarris00Britney. These are all on Patreon. I'm scared to download from MTS and SFS these days.

The biggest benefit I got out of it is that it forced my Sim to max Handiness, so I had him upgrade just about every object in the house.

The ending of that Nature Event was very lackluster. The payoff was nowhere near worth the effort. If you're like me, and you want the items, then do the event. But if you're doing it for the story, I wouldn't bother.

Love Ben Starr, but that genre is not for me.

So glad the fix for the pregnancy bugs is coming tomorrow. Now, I can finish the Nature event on my vanilla-ish save and get back to my main save...that's if I can tear myself away from Transport Fever 2.

Could everyone please spread to make sure that bug reports can get to the Sims 4 devs asap.

This involves:
- Make sure to test without mods/cc
- Make sure to STATE if you use mods/cc
- Provide your platform
- SEARCH the forum and use the compiled list before creating a new thread.

I don't play with them much, but my daughter does, especially with pets. Thankfully, she hasn't played in a few months so her saves should be fine.

I feel like they think we should start a brand new save every time a pack comes out. That's now how I play. I've been playing the same save since Eco Lifestyle came out. YouTubers are calling this a forever save, but this is how I've always played going back to TS2.

That's a good point about the cooking one possibly being too easy. The pastry making one sounds cool.

I had to speedrun unlocking Peter Pan in Disney Dreamlight Valley so that I can complete the Star Path. I'm ignoring the summer event. The second half of Storybook Vale dropped today, and I've barely started the first part.

I miss my main Sims save, but I don't dare open it until the pregnancy glitches are fixed.

It's been a minute since I looked at your hobby aspirations. Is there one for cooking? You could combine the cooking, gourmet cooking, baking, and candies in that one. And a another aspiration that combines mixology, juice fizzing, and nectar making would be cool.

Played a little bit of Transport Fever 2 this morning. According to Steam, I hadn't touched the game in nearly two years. Time really flies because it doesn't feel like it's been that long. I'm looking forward to TPF 3 coming out next year.
