I doubt it, but it would have been great if they did

Horror movies (especially 80s), bad films, The Archers, Eurovision, and that scene in Deadpool. Host of the Trilogy Of Terror podcast (and new podcast on the way). He/him ๐ณ๏ธโ๐
I doubt it, but it would have been great if they did
20.11.2024 09:30 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Love the Wales Millennium Centre, such an impressive building
19.11.2024 22:03 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Really enjoyed the stage adaptation of Pontypool at the Wales Millennium Centre this week. It worked so well as a single-location play
19.11.2024 22:02 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 3 ๐ 0I know my eyes arenโt quite what they used to be, but come on - how am I supposed to read this tiny print against clear packaging?!
07.02.2024 19:29 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Waiting my turn in our local barbers. The teenager currently in the barber chair just asked for a mullet. I mean, actually asked for one. By choice.
05.02.2024 18:04 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Maybe Iโve underestimated the appeal of DIY tools. This one sounds much more useful
22.01.2024 15:24 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Iโm watching it now ๐
06.01.2024 21:54 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Surprising what you can find behind the fridge. Last time I did a reach around I found a big knob
06.01.2024 11:01 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Iโm glad you enjoyed it, it sounds intriguing. I will definitely check it out soon ๐
06.01.2024 10:40 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0What did you think of it?
06.01.2024 10:23 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Well I hope you enjoy it, and itโs been worth your wait!
06.01.2024 00:28 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I do! I hadnโt realised itโs on there. Itโs one of those films Iโve known about for years (former Video Nasty) but never got round to buying a copy of. Iโll have to check it out now. Thanks for the heads up!
06.01.2024 00:12 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Ooh, I still havenโt got round to watching that one
06.01.2024 00:04 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0This yearโs version of my traditional contribution to the family get-together Christmas dinner - a good old traditional 1970s-style Trifle.

23.12.2023 14:45 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Got that horrible scratchy feeling at the back of my nose/throat - ie first sign of a cold. Yeuch. Just in time for the crazy busy two weeks leading up to Christmas โน๏ธ
10.12.2023 19:20 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Poster for Netflix movie No One Gets Out Alive
Didnโt have great expectations for this, but I was pleasantly surprised. Relies on atmosphere, tension and great set design, rather than jump scares and gore. Slightly let down by CGI towards the end, but still very enjoyable and creepy
10.12.2023 15:49 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Was using one of those razor-blade type mandolins to thinly slice vegetables earlier, got a bit carried away and the inevitable happened. It shaved a clean slice of skin off my thumb (nothing serious) but blimey so much blood. Let's just say the meal is no longer vegetarian
02.12.2023 20:19 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Just watched a YouTuber describing a train with โno bogiesโ. Six-year-old me would have found that absolutely hilarious
21.11.2023 22:05 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Now watching The Wages Of Fear (1953). Iโve only seen the 1977 version of the story (Friedkinโs โSorcererโ, which I liked) so itโll be interesting to see the โoriginalโ French film adaptation

15.11.2023 02:17 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Today I have an ear-word (not ear-worm). 'Schwa'. It's a linguistic term for the most-used vowel sound in spoken English (eg it's the 1st and 3rd 'a' in 'banana'). It's represented by the symbol of an upside down 'e'
09.11.2023 12:22 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I was sitting in the doctor's waiting room earlier, watching the screen that plays information about the place and a few local adverts. Including one for a nearby funeral director. I bet anxious patients feel much more at ease seeing that!
06.10.2023 21:12 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0A photo of Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool with the text: Ryan Reynolds paid $10,000 of his own money for the right to wear a shirt with The Golden Girl's Bea Arthur on it in Deadpool. Arthur's estate agreed for a donation in that amount to a charity of their choosing. Ryan paid it himself because he felt you couldn't have Deadpool without Bea Arthur.
Reason 26484 to love Ryan Reynolds
