Sketches of Vedalia, a moth Hollow Knight OC. The top shows a cute lil baby Vedalia, assumed to be the size of the Knight. The Seer is her caretaker. The bottom left shows an older Vedalia. She has pleading eyes, saying, "pls give me geo :)". To the right of this is the original concept for Vedalia - a vessel slightly taller than the Knight and raised by the Moth tribe. Despite the potential for interesting lore here, I ended up loving the moth design too much!! Maybe I'll use both? Fun fact: prior to a redesign, Vedalia was called Ladybug. She was a small vessel with a beret and an oversized purple sweater. It wasn't a very good design. I carried the beret over to vessel Vedalia while changing everything else. I'm quite happy with the way she turned out! :)
