The Roundworld year for 2026 shall be known as [FX Drum Roll] : The Year of the Curious Squid. Artwork by Discworld artist Paul Kidby.

Wildlife tracking! I'm reposting things I made this past year. If you look closely at the deer tracks you'll see I added the hint that they're double registering (hind foot is stepping into the same spot as front foot).

On Halloween, @ice-elf.bsky.social and I finally started posting our #DeadBoyDetectives Edwin/Chares collab fic, Learning By Heart, after over a year of writing it! The only fic, to my knowledge, ever inspired by a tweet of mine. It includes a phrase I would be proud to have written: “A man who does not love naked hot sauerkraut wrestling truly cannot be said to love our country.”
