No, but I might very much need to! The EDT specifically looks like my brand. I’ve recently isolated cypress as I note I love, so Encre Noire was a cheap option to check out.

Not related to cypress, but I’m dying to get a sample of Chanel No. 19 (the OG or Poudré, I just love green scents so much.)

This is an inexpensive way to smell like I’m prepared to slip away into the dark waters of the Styx and meet Hades. Worth the $20.

The prologue had a nun in a Spirit Halloween costume stab a girl and toss her into the lake, but the red demon shark was already red and demon-y. So I’m not sure what that explained at all.

So…this is definitely some college senior project. It’s something. The shark is in fact possessed and bit a girl in the lake (???) and theoretically she is now possessed. But the shark is still evil? I’m not sure if I’m missing something or if just. Bad.

Pray for me. The Boyfriend is in one of his creature feature film moods and found something called “Shark Exorcism.”

I would also be happy owning 649494739 green perfumes, however, so take that for what it’s worth. 💚

#SOTD is Linen Vetiver by Banana Republic. It’s well over 100°F today, so something crisp, green, with a touch of fresh laundry is appropriate.

A review on Parfumo states that this is redundant to own alongside Vintage Green; I disagree. VG has a distinct tea & fig and none of the laundry.

I’m generally not a gourmand person, but I always make an exception for honey notes.

It’s been a particularly awful workweek; indulging in a stupid number of honey-scented products to soothe my nerves (Lush’s Scrubee, VS honey body oil, Ellis Brooklyn SWEET with a light layer of BEE).

Not that I need more, but I see Bath & Body is introducing Whipped Honey & Vanilla soon…

There’s a slim chance I can save it. I’ll have to cut it back pretty severely, but it’s a fast grower, so it’s worth a shot!

Spider mites absolutely devastated my calathea stella overnight and I’m distraught

Watered and inspected some 50 or so plants, only two have spider mites. Everything got insecticide spray anyway. Tomorrow I’ll reapply diatomaceous earth on all of them. 🫠

Operation Indie Perfume Organization continues over coffee today. A little bittersweet to label Madam Moth’s Parlour, which sadly closed last year. I loved absolutely everything I purchased from that house.

Rewatching all the Pirates of the Caribbean films (for Halloween research), and. If Elizabeth doesn’t want Norrington, I’d take him.
