That's certainly not to say my current handful of other OC's wont change dramatically as I continue to write for them. One of my characters, a pirate turned privateer after a devastating shipwreck, completely changed looks after I wrote large chunks of his lore. [4/5]

Or perhaps it's because Thala is the main character I play, and I tend to switch up looks a lot. I tend towards the first 2 - I've been very comfortable with his current design for quite some time - and am quite attached to it. Thematically, it is my favorite. [3/5]

I have a handful of reasons as to why this is the case for Thala - and conversely why It's taken me much less time to come up with and design other OC's, which I have a handful of. Is it because I'm more confident now? Is it because I've 'improved?' [2/5]

Outside thought; while Thala is definitely my main OC, he grew to what he is through MANY iterations. Same core thesis, but many design changes and decisions that I've made over the course of almost 5 months. Black hair to red, golden eyes to green eyes, PLD to SAM and et-cetera. [1/5]

shout out to all the writers and artists who take forever to finish something. I get it, bro. I take a long time too. but your worth as a writer/artist isn't built upon production. so just keep striding it out. keep taking those steps. we each have our own race track. we'll get to the finish line

just know, when you say you like a character I created, I will remember it forever, brother. I will ride out and fight for you should you need me, defending you to my last breath.
