You know what no one tells you about reviews as a debut author?
Readers WILL actively compare your debut to someone else’s 10th novel. Keep going anyway because even the most established of authors have negative reviews. #💙📚

I love a good contemporary pro sports romance. But you’ll have to pry historical romances from my cold dead hands because you know what’s more relatable than pro athlete with $$$$? ‘We don’t got money but we got love’ (and no electricity and probably typhoid.)

You know what’s refreshing about being here?🦋 I haven’t had a single course advertisement promising things like instant viral videos, selling 1,000 copies of my books, or instant fame. (side note- if anyone knows how to sell 1,000 copies of my books I’ll take that advice)
