I have over 20 years work experience and in 2023 out of 700 applications, I had 3 interviews, no job. I went back to school and got my Bachelors only to be told I need my Masters.

When I graduate some time in 2027, I wonder if there will even be any remote jobs or if my degrees will count...

Finished my historiography paper (22 pages) and sent it to the academic help desk for a read through & emailed the professor about the length (supposed to be 12-15 pages).

Omg anyone else have a #PetPeeve about people blasting their music or TV inconsiderately?

Like, you aren't entertaining Woodstock. There is NO NEED for your music to be so loud that people on other floors or down the block can hear it.

That's fair. I have no tolerance for anything even on the same continent as spicy and I'm sure there are people who would be horrified by that.

Before I got my roommates, the only spices I had were salt and garlic salt.

I know people think the regular sized ones are "too much"....which I think is just silly.

Then again, sugar and high fructose corn syrup could probably be distilled from my blood. Caffeine too.

I'm gonna be better preserved than the Egyptian mummies. 😆
