I'm getting a new cover for an omnibus edition of Portal to Nova Roma books 1-3. The amazing Daniele Turturici (who did my Jake's MM covers!) is designing it.
Take a look at these beautiful art designs they came up with just to get a feel for the city of Nova Roma and my MC!

Thank you!!
09.09.2025 16:41 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The first drafts for both book 4 and 5 of Portal to Nova Roma are officially DONE!
I still need to do two rounds of edits and then have my editor do the same but we are getting REAL CLOSE!

Hey, thank you! Sorry I'm on a social media blackout so only just saw this. Appreciate the help!!
03.06.2025 13:22 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0One of my top ten progression fantasy series, for sure!
I heard the audiobooks got cancelled because there wasn't enough interest in the series and I honestly think that's such a great shame because the series is SO GOOD everyone should be devouring it.
Thank you so much!!! β€οΈ
02.01.2025 19:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I was just told that the audiobook for Jake's Magical Market 3 is on sale if anyone was looking to pick up the conclusion to my series!
It's 36 HOURS long and now on sale for just $7.99!!

My boomer dad will read all my reviews and then will tell me some of the more ridiculous ones like, "someone compared you to Tolkien again they are being so over the top." It's pretty funny.
03.12.2024 19:04 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I tend to avoid looking at reviews just to spare my own mental health but I decided to glance at Jake's Magical Market 3's audiobook reviews and it's really moving to see how much the ending of the series has connected with people.
Here is one of my favorites:

Ugh, yeah. I hate the modern trend of minimalist, boring covers with just text and a nondescript swirl of color or maybe a tree branch or something sticking up behind the title. Yawnnnnnnnnnn.
02.12.2024 21:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0That old chair was AMAZING. Found it at a legit second hand store and it was the comfiest thing in the world!
02.12.2024 21:04 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Love these old classic covers so much! They are often so magical and amazing - although I often found the story within sometimes rather disappointing growing up. The covers sparked my imagination but the stories were often generic and formulaic.
(Not that I've read this specific book)
This old photo of my apartment from 10+ years ago popped up and I was reminded of how much I loved my old library. I used to have so many books I ran out of space and had to stack them on the floor. There are more bookshelves full of books around the corner as well!

Sadly, no firm updates yet. I'm working hard on both book 4 and 5 at the same time so it will take longer. I also am really working hard to make sure the books are as good as I can possibly make them!

28.11.2024 01:24 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0/pt3 Here is a really great reddit post by a fantastic LitRPG author Erin Amersand (you can also check out her series Apocalypse Parenting for a great example of LitRPG done right!) that explains the genre in great detail for more info:

/pt2 In my second series, Portal to Nova Roma, the main character and people in an alternative magical world of ancient Constantinople can unlock various classes such as Gunslinger, Warrior, Berserker, Archer and so on. Those classes act like game with levels/attributes/special abilities and so on.
27.11.2024 02:20 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It can be pretty broad but LitRPG basically means any game-like component that exists inside the story of the book. So, for instance, in Jake's Magical Market (my first book) there exists magical cards like Magic the Gathering that the main character goes out into the world to collect. /pt1

*currently writing both book 4 and 5 at the same time so book 4 is going to be delaying for a bit but once the last two books are done they will both come out around the same time.
