If I were an elf I feel like this time of year would be just the worst.

If you think something made with AI is funny or cool, I am judging you. You might as well be watching a Jib Jab. Where is your soul

Absolutely bonkers day. Always try to hit museums when we go to Guad but most are closed on Mondays. Except the wax museum, the torture museum, and a house filled with backdrops for selfies/VR stations. I went under the sea.

The crossword clue was "seed with a hat," and the answer was "acorn," and I was like, awww. I needed that.

The latest issue of Whale Road Review is so tenderly curated. Each piece is a coin of beach glass. I especially loved Brian Delaney's "The Garage."

I forget dumb people well. I struggle to remember the names of dumb exes. I have no attachment. This is my superpower.

I was inspired to enter a collection of my short stories to a contest, thanks to the encouragement I've received from publishers and fans. I know my stories are weird and uncomfortable. I guess that's ok.

Thank you for being a fan, and for your encouragement. I am so very grateful. You have the best darned blog thing out there and I can't wait to see it grow!

Ma'Donna was published in the 38th (I think) and final edition of Truman U's lit mag. Honored to be a part of their fine journal's legacy.

Eternally thankful to @turnandwork.com for recognizing two(!) stories of mine as their most memorable of 2025. They chose Spiral (a personal fave) and Ma'Donna (something I took chances w and wasn't sure about.) Visit the list and read all 20 stellar selections.
