Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.

The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

It's a testament to the widespread incompetence of the Trump administration that the Secretary of Transportation, Sean Duffy, is preoccupied with what passengers wear on planes rather than how many air traffic controllers there are to keep them safe, even if not in bespoke suits.

That’ll take care of all the air travel problems… when you’re delayed, circling endlessly hoping to land or just flying out of a door accidentally blown off mid flight, ya wanna be well dressed.

I had a gf who dressed in a swimsuit to get through security at an airport once, she got pulled and drug tested and we missed our flight to Cancun. I was in swim trunks but didn’t get stopped because I was not anywhere as hot as she was.

I do often think about dress code tribalism when things are most heated, the visual cues of liberals versus conservatives in the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s. Now we've got MAGA filler face and Young Republicans Nazi Youth conservative dress as identifiers.

So I'm leaning even harder into grunge. 🤷
