Arknights: Endfield screenshot. I've got a conveyor belt taking plants from one facility to another facility that is right next to it. But the belt takes the most inconvenient route possible, snaking around the entire factory area, filling almost all of the available space.

Overall this was very fun, I'm really glad that the game supports you doing goofy stuff like this and doesn't hard block you or bug out. Although when I logged in on mobile this morning I did notice some concerning signs of pollution in the local water source. Surely it's fine though

After that, just had to flip the switch and fill 'er back up! Here we can see Perlica enjoying the fruits of the Automated Industry Complex (the fruits are lemon and lime)

Standing in front of the treasure chest that I submerged in liquid xiranite for over 24 hours. In the minimap in the top left, you can see ten trillion overlapping icons showing all of the machinery that I've got installed at ground level

This process went much faster, especially since I didn't need to empty the full thing to reach the spot I missed. After ~6 hours, I was united with my missing mountain-marinated treasure. I really like how horrible the minimap looks in this screenshot

The pond is now SURROUNDED by 80 fluid tanks, all chained together, with two pumps feeding into them.

Funny problems call for funny solutions. So I whipped up 80 fluid storage tanks and started draining the pond for the second time. I think Perlica shed a single tear of joy seeing the true potential of Endfield Industries being utilized here

Turns out you can't drain a liquid into a different type of liquid (a.k.a I can't drain this pond into the nearby stream of water). "Good thing I don't need to get back in there!" I thought.

About 15 minutes later I realized that I had made the funniest mistake possible:
I MISSED A CHEST IN THERE

i took the idea from r*ddit but it's funny and i wanted to do it too. i DID shut down half my battery production for ~14 hours to do this. Also filled the neighboring pools with Yazhen Solution and Jincao Solution afterwards (which heals you when you step in it! neat!).

Nice! Yeah I remember liking those characters too (but it’s been a while since I played, maybe time to revisit). I remember it being really cool how it switches between caring what people say (in story segments) vs what they mean (in debate segments). Glad you had a good time with it!
