Just walked home and it's so unbelievably, indescribably cold , I don't have the words. Luckily have heat in the apartment at last. And all I can think of are our defenders holding the line out East & what they must be going through, and I don't have the words. Love and respect them more than ever.

Halfway up the Ukrainian veterans mountain hike in La Gomera, we told the lads they could have a breather and have five minutes to put their feet up.

A couple of months ago, at Galychyna rehabilitation centre Lviv, Ruslan was really struggling & having a particularly bad day. Yuliya told him we were going to take him sailing in the canary islands in the new year & swore she'd hike a mountain with him to watch a sunset. He said she was crazy 😉

And the look on the tourists faces, as our Ukrainian warriors made their way through Tenerife airport, as more than one approached to shake their hands. And one family, from Newcastle stopped to ask why we are there - and their little girl gave the guys her sweets 🥹

And arriving this afternoon at Tenerife airport ☀️ I cannot tell you how much some of these patients have suffered, especially those released from captivity. It brings so much joy to see them there in the sunshine, a world away from the war. www.goodhub.com/go/healing-u...

The message is clear: America IS NOT willing to fight a war IN Europe to prevent European territory from being seized by Russia.

But, IS willing to fight a war WITH Europe in order to seize European territory in order to prevent it from being seized by Russia.
