As Kirkians, they adhere to the teachings and sayings of Charlie Kirk, because, you know, the sayings and teachings of Jesus are too woke.

The United States is in a crisis of performative masculinity driven by vanity instead of vision, grievance instead of gratitude, and retribution instead of rehabilitation.

Codes of ethics:

If a profession develops a code of ethics, the governing authorities of that profession should abide that code of ethics.

I’m tired of seeing professions and institutions pay lip-service to codes of ethics, holding the powerless accountable while giving leadership a pass.

When I check Bluesky, all I see are posts by people who have platforms. I have to scroll a lot to find posts from people I actually know.

I bet Elon Musk has spent more on gender affirming care than I have.

We need to oppose Trump at every turn, fight his agenda in every way possible. We cannot afford appeasement.
Pay attention to Democratic women like AOC and Jasmine Crockett. They’re doing it right. So many other democrats are either silent or complicit.
Wake up and be the opposition party!

Are you getting them, too? Emails and texts soliciting money to support democratic candidates and/or Democratic organizations say,”We need to save our democracy!” just like the deluge of messages we received last year.
But too many Democrats are not working like they really believe those messages.

Boycott Tesla, Defund Starlink, Cancel SpaceX contracts, Fire Elon Musk (who is unelected, unvetted, unconfirmed, uncaring, and unAmerican)

These are measures the Democratic Party should be pushing.

In Trump world, a Ukrainian “good faith effort toward peace negotiations” is total capitulation to Putin’s Russia.
The United States and Russia are now working together the way the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany did when partitioning Poland in 1939.

Why isn’t this guy properly dress for a visit to the White House?

How does the devil dress?
He wears a suit and tie with an American flag pin on the lapel.

Our current leadership is full of men who are afraid of defeat, who will not strive on their own merits, who are trying to orchestrate a permanent victory through despotic means.
They lack courage and conviction, using power to bludgeon the truth and baffle the facts.

They are very similar to people like Rudolph Hess, Heinrich Himmler, Albert Speer, and Joseph Goebbels - vicious opportunists who sought proximity to power to elevate their personal mythologies.

Elon Musk, JD Vance, Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz: all men who are obviously insecure in their masculinity.
As a trans woman who once had a flight into hypermasculinity, I know how over-compensating men behave, how they perform their lives.
They may not be closeted LGBTQ, but they are predictable.

The light I see resides within the power of the present, that we are on the crossroads where we can reclaim meaning or make a deal with the devil and lose it all. 6/6

And I also wonder about the arc of history… Does it really bend toward justice?
Perhaps the arc of history to which they refer is not a representative sample. Might it also be an arc of corruption, decay, and disillusionment? 5/6

When the citizens of other countries boo the USA, especially those who have been staunch allies, I understand that the USA can no longer stand for freedom, that our cynical and selfish nature has conquered our ideals, and we can no longer claim to be “the good guys.” 4/6

When I hear our National Anthem, I hear the unsung 3rd verse that upholds slavery.

When I hear the words “God bless America,” I wonder about the blessing they beseech, if that blessing includes my erasure. 3/6
