The city continually shows its ignorance of and utter lack of support for the arts community. The arts don't run on a couple of big galleries and a museum. OAC and CC do not fund operating expenses for small organizations. The Cultural Plan has been MIA since 2012. Hockey trumps culture in #ptbo.

The arts community has clearly stated that any municipal arts funding needs to be separate from and non-competitive with other community "wellness" funding. #ptbo has chosen to abandon its art community. It has no cultural services director, no Cultural Plan. Mayor, staff have no clue about arts.
