I get the pushback to Bluesky in that it further bifurcates our media ecosystem. But at this point, Twitter’s content moderation is so nonexistent and its verified users so extreme that the choice becomes either move away from Twitter or be subjected to straight up 4chan nazi bile on a daily basis.

Social media is in desperate need of innovation. Meta is only letting you have a slice of control over what you see because Bluesky is here building for you.

I don't see it the same, MySpace failed because it didn't adapt to what ppl wanted. They liked Facebook better. I was on Twitter almost 20 years & still loved it until Elon took over. I do really like bsky so far but it hasn't yet gained that "je ne sais quoi" Twitter had in 2022. I hope it does!
