Had a marvelous Samhain including a very special 1st degree Initiation. I think Initiations are probably my single favorite ceremony to perform. More than handfastings, more than house blessings, more than all the other wonderful rites I get to be a part of. Initiations have always been special.

Blessed Samhain to all! The veil is thin, and we honor and welcome our ancestors. May their memory and wisdom be a little closer to heart this Season.

They SAY "election Secutiy" but we know better.

I'm not convinced we'll even HAVE midterms at this point, much less free and fair elections if we do

Arrest them. They are breaking state law and beyond the reach of a Federal pardon.

Problem is, %40 of Americans live paycheck to paycheck and cannot pull together $400 in savings during an out of control inflation and housing crisis. Many Americans also have to work 50-60 hours just to make ends meet. Many support families. Authoritarianism leverages poverty to exhaust people.

So what would be a credible source to you?

Authoritarians have to have "The Enemy" in order to amass the votes and popular support until such time as they no longer require the votes, having gerrymandered and restricted voting so completely that they create single party rule. It's not a bug, its a feature.

Get some sleep man. We've all been there.

Trump needs no excuse, real or imagined, to declare an insurrection. And, even if he did invoke martial law, that would not change the protests. It would probably embolden them. Enforcing martial law in a country of 320 million is a far cry from declaring it.

When I was 3-4 years old, we raised rabbits. Well, there was a water barrel at the corner of the house. One day, I walked into the kitchen and asked my mother "Mom. Why don't rabbits swim"? Of course she intuited what had happened in an instant and rescued it before it was too late.
