Border Patrol agents continue to be active in the northwest Chicago suburbs this afternoon. A large number of agents were heckled by onlookers in a BP gas station in Niles, IL.

The agents left as quickly as they came - one of their vehicles leaving the lot had no back license plate.

In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.

I’m howling.

Please stop using language that suggests that people with criminal records are appropriate targets for this administration's violence. One in three adults has a criminal record. Stop playing sacrifice games with fascists. Stop surrendering entire categories of people in your own mind.

I hope whistle kit packing events have already been happening there. The bright colored whistles have been powerful, visible sign of solidarity here in the Chicagoland area.
