I get what you mean about world building and escalation. There's a real sense of exploring what might happen in this story. It's definitely a fun read, and probably surprised a few people along the way who formed their own expectations from the intial setup

"Just Ignore It" wraps up in this update and I had forgotten how I really enjoyed writing that series. It was maybe the first time I took the space to indulge in world building and character dynamics and weird conceptual stuff. Also the chaos of supernatural growth scenarios, I had so much fun lol
