Finished wiring the sauna. Heater is 7.5kw; this beast pulls ~32 amps @ 240 volts. 150ft cable run, so had to use 8ga wire due to voltage drop. Auxiliary 120V lines for various sensors.
I knew how to do exactly 0 of this before building a pinball machine (and watching @techconnectify.bsky.social)

Messed around and got a sauna

Latest pinball update. Sector 7G is finally done! Complete with Homer’s desk, lit panels, and a sleeping Homer sculpt.

Landscaping update:
Leveled some ground in my backyard, installed an 8x8’ base, now filling with stone. Wait’ll you see what’s going to sit on top of all this.

My 5-year-old somehow learned what a drinking game is. “Daddy, it’s like a contest…to get DRUNK!”
