Ugh, I knew the hip issues I've been having involve my sciatic nerve, but its now developed into the same sciatica I've had on the left my whole life 🙃 Realized tonight that my right thigh has lost a fair bit of feeling, it's now the same level of half-numb as the left. I really gotta get imaging :/

And now that I finally got these 2 models painted how I want, my brain should hopefully be able to let me focus on starting to learn Blender! Probably won't actually start learning till Thursday, got stuff going on tomorrow, but soon, one way or another!

Made progress figuring out the issues I was having with Bambu Studio's paint tool! 3d shop suggested a possible fix, and while it didn't SOLVE the issues, it did make it much easier to fix the parts that are still being stupid. Putting filament into the dryer tonight, hopefully printing tomorrow!

As someone in the US(unfortunately), I am so happy for you guys that your government is no longer waiting on our nightmare of a country to discontinue our use of daylight savings before ending yours! (the video I saw said Canada had been trying to wait on the US, to make the change together)

I'll probably be up till like 4am at this point, anyways, brain doesn't let me even try to sleep when I feel this bad, so might as well do something to at least try to numb the pain in the mean time...

I've been slowly spiraling and now I'm falling into a bad meltdown, right as partner is going to bed early with a migraine. Fml. Substance abuse runs heavy in my family, so I usually try to avoid using anything when I feel like this, but it's so fucking bad tonight I might just get fucking plastered

It keeps leaving either big gaps where there shouldn't be one, or leaving the teeniest tiniest gaps, which are a nightmare to try to fill. The previous model by the same maker didn't have this issue at all, I don't understand why I'm having so much of an issue with this one. I've wasted hours today😭

So fucking frustrated I'm on the verge of crying and having a meltdown. I cannot get bambu lab studio to work right with recoloring. Idk if it's the model or the program, but it's just not working right. And google doesnt seem to understand my question, I can't find anything about this issue

The way I did it initially, it only changed the color of the very first layer, and as a result, the eyes (the most detailed part, by far) came out wonky. But I was literally just on the wrong tab while painting 🤦 gonna mess with the other model I painted to make sure I don't need to fix anything

Man, I'm glad to be learning, but sometimes it's annoying. Found out all the time I spent meticulously painting a 3d model was lowkey wasted because when I showed the small issues I had with the final print to the local 3d shop, they pointed out a MUCH faster, better way to change the colors 🤦

Aaaa figuring things out enough that I actually started my own print!! Partner guided me, but I still technically did it myself! Doing another dragon by Layers in Green, this one is gonna be Atria! I played with the color placement on this one, too, I can't wait to see it in physical form ^w^

It's still a pipe dream, I've only just barely started looking into resources to learn how to do the digital sculpting, but maybe some day I can make custom fursona figures for people... That would be so neat, in both digital and physical forms. Plus the fursuit making applications... 👀

Man, Im seriously gonna get sucked into 3d printing, aren't I? If I can figure out how to make my own models, it's gonna be game over. The actual printing is harder for me to understand, as I'm quite tech illiterate, but partner is more than happy to teach (and re-teach) me.

Forgot to say, this is not my design, it's by Layers in Green! This is her Kaida dragon, & it comes with an egg design, too! Partner will be printing me her Atria dragon next. I totally didn't forget this in my drafts like 2 days ago 😬 but I'm gonna have my partner print me a v2 soon, because I'm figuring out how to use orca slicer to modify color placement, and I made some tweaks that I think are gonna level it up quite a bit :3

My child is complete!! Such a precious print, I'm absolutely obsessed (accidentally stayed up till 3am watching the printer work) this was my partner's first 4 color print on his new H2C, it turned out amazing. The colors and textures are hard to get an accurate photo of, it's stunning irl ^w^

Final premade for Furnal Equinox has been completed!

They will also be a mini partial, and will be selling for $4300CAD/$3150USD

They are built on a Kairiwolfart TPU base, and the eye blanks + mesh are also by her!
