Trump administration pulls plug on UW climate research partnership A research collaborative hosted at the University of Washington has worked alongside communities to help them adapt to climate change.

The dismissal of National Climate Assessment authors this week and notice that its scope is being "reevaluated" leaves the door open to a compromised report serving fossil fuel interests at the cost of American communities.

UW climate research group braces for Trump cuts The University of Washington's Climate Impacts Group relies heavily on federal funding to help communities adapt to climate change.

I talked to the Seattle Times about how loss of our region's Climate Adaptation Science Center and NOAA Climate Adaptation Partnership would slash our capacity to support NW climate resilience.

“If the (centers) are eliminated, then our resource managers are going to be flying blind,” Krosby said."
