Revisiting this today after seeing a post about ADHD and object permanency and it's hits all the same.

ADHD can affect our sense of object permanency pretty heavily. The easy example is forgetting you had carrots in the veggie drawer because you couldn't see them.

Idk how common this is for other poly peeps, but I always find it funny when Haley and are talking and checking in on new/old crushes and one of us will say:
"Oh I think Im kinda crushing on this person."
And there's this moment of silence as we realize they def aren't poly and we both laugh

I haven't been doing too well mentally this weekend, but when Haley was out getting stuff to make her dress she thought of me and wanted to cheer me up. I am genuinely very lucky to have her in my life.

I think of the reasons I like the Damien x Raven ship so much is because I never saw myself as beastboy. I was never that relaxed, go with the flow kind of guy, no matter how much I wanted to be.

So seeing someone with issues, with anger, still manage to find comfort in the world is always nice.

I've had people comment that it's wild how the moment someone I care for leaves I'm immediately sad about it, and that I don't have a meter that fills and slowly drains. This meme helped.
