I'm sorry. My Stella was the same. She was 18 and had a rapid decline. I also hate myself because I didn't recognize her behavior as a problem (inappropriate bathroom habits), and maybe her end time could have been less difficult for her.

😁 My door remains closed. It took almost 7 years to stop the scratching and paws under the doors. 😉

Nothing is better than gaming at your desk (Elder Scrolls Online), headphones on, oblivious to the world. Get up for a BRB and step barefoot into cat vomit. Not sure which cat. But there was grass involved. And agua.

I came home from the grocery a bit ago and saw both Gloria and Shadow under the neighbor's car but they barely touched their food.

Zelda at least ate some of her wet. Astra looks like she hasn't eaten at all. She's my special needs cat so if she eats some Greenies I'll know she's just in a mood.

Weird day. Every morning, I feed Astra and Zelda, and then I go outside to feed the ferals.

Neither of my two budged from their spots. Went out to feed Gloria and Shadow. No shows. (it was schvitzing out so they were probably sheltering.)

Get back upstairs and an hour later, haven't moved?

Zelda rarely does #biscuits. When she does, it's on the blanket, and it's slow and methodical.

People had been throwing food in the breezeway randomly, and the new void was making it their territory, so I set up a feeding station downstairs. Gloria comes and tells me when she needs fresh agua. Sometimes Shadow comes with his girlfriend. (They are both fixed note clipped ears)

I have a couple of #cats that I feed (Gloria and Shadow) every morning. By 6:30am, if I haven't already been downstairs, they come to get me.
There is a new interloper void I haven't named yet (likes to pee). They are a troublemaker. But we are making progress. Finally sniffed my hand at least.

There's an ongoing issue with the top of one of their perches. When Astra gets her meds, Zelda immediately goes for the top perch.

Zelda eats a lot of #cat (oat) grass. Her poos end up looking like a choo-choo train. Last week, I caught her booty scooting while trying to pass one. For the last week, she's been getting a little store-brand Miralax added to her wet food.

Fresh pot of grass got only a little attention today.

Poor Zelda will run and jump up to the perch only to find Astra already encamped. Zelda steps around a moment and then retreats. Meanwhile, Astra follows and attacks her for daring.

Astra looks smug after her territorial victory.

Astra and Zelda have an ongoing territorial dispute over the downstairs perches. They ignore one tower and fight over the top perch on the other. You can tell they think about getting up before they hit the litter pans or feeders.

I've been begging Astra to do my back, but that wouldn't be self-serving for her. She likes my waterbed belly.

Three years ago, I was laid off from a tech job and decided that was it; I was done. So I stopped using my office upstairs. Since I was downstairs mostly gaming, the perches moved.
3 years later? They decided to make use. But conflict ensues.
