MF39 will include a performance of "The Marriage: The Mahlers in NY." Alma will be played by the talented Esther Van Zyl, a South African–born actor, theater-maker, and educator based in Colorado.

"Songs of Protest & Defiance," a recital by the amazing vocalists assembled for our performance of Ullmann's "Der Kaiser von Atlantis." These wonderful performers, with pianist Jennifer Hayghe, put on a incredibly powerful performance at the Canyon Theater at the Boulder Public Library.

In 2022, the MahlerFest Chamber Orchestra premiered “Mahler, a Final Frontier: Fantasy on Themes of Mahler and Courage” by George Morton which combines bits from all of Mahler’s symphonies with the music of Star Trek, all in under five minutes.
