One of the greatest sporting comebacks of all time. Amazing to see how much more this one means given everything Marc has been through - #MoreThanANumber indeed.

Feels like Gary & co need to get comfortable with the idea of racing in the rain again - the tyres exist to make it safe. MGP and TT won't survive if everyone knows races will get camcelled any time it's spitting somewhere on the island. Teams, riders and fans won't bother turning up.

BTCC Thruxton

Senior TT cancelled - having never ridden a 200bhp motorbike, I'm not going to argue if some of the best racers in the world say the wind's too much.

Probably needs a re-evaluation of the schedule though, given that's 2 years in a row trying to run 10 races and failing #iomtt

Over at Thruxton for the BTCC today so selfishly quite pleased the Senior #iomtt has been delayed. Weather here has finally decided what it's doing - unfortunately it's decided I'm getting soaked.

Plenty of other winners out there not spending every interview slagging off other riders and teams.

New lap record and no. 33 for MD. Chuffed to see Dom on the podium as well, well deserved. Mega ride for Baz Furber too.

Can't call a winner for the Senior between MD, Todd and Dean. Dean in particular looks to be going better than ever.

Good run for Hillier and Conor, and Josh Brookes making progress with a 131.4mph lap. Shame Hutchy retired, looking quicker and quicker and could have been on for a podium. #iomtt

The #MonacoGP has never been an overtaking fest, but rather about seeing the cars in close confines around the streets.

Visually, the Monte Carlo circuit is still more spectacular than Vegas or Jeddah.
