Received a lovely email from a colleague in Tokyo.

“I learned this flower is called 雪割草, which translates to something like “snow breaking grass.” It is a symbol of the start to spring and I do feel spring is approaching here in Tokyo. Enjoy the last bit of winter and the approaching spring!”

While it’s cool these movies introduced my son to Dylan and Queen, he has developed his own long list of bands he follows and loves, waaaay, outside of my zone, which I fully embrace! 🎧❤️ ⬇️

A similar vibe occurred when I took him to see the “Queen flick”, he dug into my Queen records, added their songs to his playlists, learned the bass parts to Under Pressure & Another One Bites the Dust. The Sheer Heart Attack LP poster is pasted on his bedroom wall. ⬇️

Xmas night, I took the fam to see the movie, my 17yr old son, kept nudging me, “I know this song!” throughout the film. ⬇️

Tho’ one very hard lesson I’ve learned, this is not about the obsessive part of my DNA to get it right, rather, this genre may/will introduce a new generation in this case, Dylan, the hits, the misses, overall brilliance ⬇️
