And also just I also heard Feraligatr has a good move pool for dealing with many threats in the game.
The other Mega starters I hear are also good, but Feraligatr seemed like the most well-rounded to me, and the one with the least drawbacks in my eyes.

Totodile.
I was influenced by a few things.
First, nostalgia. Totodile is my second-favourite Johto Starter after Typhlosion.
Second, while I won't spoil anything, I heard about Feraligatr's Mega before launch, and that also influenced me.

Otherwise the real difficulty was just how incredibly long it took without plus moves or a Mega Stone on my Ampharos.
But I did it.

- fighting him; at least, I couldn't find a way to.
So I was stuck using regular old Ampharos and just loading it up on potions for the duration of the flight.
The real difficulty was Hawlucha's flying press move. It did a ton of damage to me if it hit me, so that sucked.

*SPOILERS FOR POKEMON LEGENDS Z-A!*
The Mega Banette fight was pretty intense. Perhaps I'm exagerating a bit, but to me, it felt like a 3D bullet hell at times.
But it was easy-ish enough for me.
The one fight that really tested me was Mega Hawlucha, though.
You don't get the Ampharosite before -

I kind of like how sassy Mable is in this game.
It makes for some funny dialogue.

So gift Pokémon from others don't work towards Mable's dex completion rewards, but it's from Mable herself, it's fine.
I see how it is, Mable.

And not to spoil anything, but the way Legends Z-A delves into the lore of Kalos is great.
You gotta see how for yourself.

I feel like X & Y's soundtrack relied perhaps a bit too heavily on brass/orchestral instruments for much of its music, but I like how Legends Z-A takes a more varied approach.

What else can I say about Legends Z-A?
I really like the arrangement they did of the Lumiose City theme for this game.
It feels like Jazz? I'm not 100% sure, but what I do know is I really like the sound of it.

I've been coughing a lot today. I think it's the combination of the cold and my seasonal allergies.
Not fun.

Currently with Legends Z-A I'm sitting somewhere between an 8.3 with it and an 8.4.
It's fun! And an enjoyable experience, at least to me.
Not as big of a fan of all the busywork nor padding the game gives you, but otherwise it's cool.

Got a bunch of cool stuff on the trip, too.
But anyway, I feel the jetlag from returning home is making it hard for me to focus on gaming a bit.
I'll play a short sesh of Z-A and then get tired.

So, Legends Z-A.
Really enjoying it.
I talked about it a bunch more over on my X account, but I'm taking a break from X for now because of drama on the trending tab.
That seems to be the majority of what it ever is.
And that sucks.

There was also some other DS Lite I bought as well, but I forget what was so special about it. In fact I remember thinking it looked a bit plainer compared to the Tukimachi Nyamo DS, but I still bought both in the dream anyway.

I was in some kind of huge store with a bunch of people I knew, and the part that stood out was they had a Tukimachi Nyamo DS Lite.
Well it's weird. It was shaped like a DS Lite, had menus similar to a DSi, and had a Tukimachi Nyamo theme with background music like a 3DS.

Had some interesting dreams. One was a bit too mature and strange to share here.
But there was a much less strange dream that I can share!
