We are so excited to have two of our speech and language therapists, Yin Collighan and Louise Emerson on the @thesendcast.bsky.social. With Dale, they delve into the significance of oracy in schools and how enhancing speech and language skills can foster a more effective learning environment.

The summer holidays have begun and now is the time to recharge. For many teachers, this is also a chance to prepare for the new academic year.

🗓️ Next term, we are excited to launch our nursery setting solution as well as our fastest, most accurate, standardised assessment for understanding of language on school entry. Meaning more children getting the support they need!

📞 And you’re never alone – this year, our SLCN Help Desk answered over 4,200 calls, offering expert advice and guidance from our team of specialist speech and language therapists.

📊 260,601 children aged 4–14 were screened for SLCN using our assessment tools!

✅ Which led to over 20,000 intervention groups either completed or underway – supporting tens of 1,000s of children with the help of our trusted tools.
