What I thought was coughing and wheezing from the forest fires turned out to be a severe respiratory infection. It is imperative to stop self-diagnosing. This could have been much worse than it was.

Sometimes, editing requires removing all the distractions.

I lived in Querétaro, México for 4 years and traveled throughout the country. There are few places on Earth that are as welcoming and loving. Truly magical place.

The summer wildfire smoke usually doesn’t impact my health. This year, I have been coughing and wheezing. Even staying indoors isn’t helping. I can’t imagine how this impacts the animals, the environment and the people closer.
