pc crashed again during a zoom call yesterday! 🥲 i keep getting memory errors…. so we tried reseating the RAM, and hopefully that fixed it!! otherwise……. 🥲

i’m once again thinking about getting an e-reader…. i used to think i’d get a kobo, but now i’m considering getting a BOOX Go 10.3 so i can use it to read manga (and take screenshots!!)

hmmmm. anyone got opinions on e-readers?

i even got the IME to install and everything…… finally

wanting to fix the IME is what started this whole mess… i feel like i’ve accomplished nothing 🥲 but truthfully i did need to fix my GPU drivers, so at least those should be working now! what a mess!!! windows is horrible!!!!!! 😭

pc is operational. japanese IME still doesn’t work but at least i can use my computer again 😣 hopefully no more BSODs….

i thought i would feel more triumphant, but i’m bummed i still can’t get the IME to install 🥲 i will work on it more tomorrow!!

i think i have legit spent over 12 hours actively trying to fix this pc. my nerves are seriously fried 😥😖 im scared it really won’t work….. at least costco has a generous return policy :(

my IME didn’t set up correctly and that was the canary in the coal mine. apparently i can’t even pull installs or updates or whatever from windows servers. i can’t even factory reset my PC. i had to manually stick the win11 ISO on a usb stick and boot from there… rufus my good friend…
