Dutch pension funds do matter. They are among the largest in the world and manage trillions.

PFZW is the tenth-largest pension fund worldwide. By choosing sustainability, they can push the whole financial sector in a new direction.

The growing influence of US asset managers in the Netherlands - SOMO The four largest US asset managers now manage one-eighth of all Dutch listed companies. This has real implications for how these companies make choices.

Recent SOMO research highlighted that massive US asset management companies like BlackRock and Vanguard frequently vote against climate resolutions while controlling 11.8% of the Dutch stock market.

That’s a huge influence over how our future is financed.
