We went to the Gaeity Theatre panto this evening with our three kids…there is little else as pure. A theatre full of kids, adults and performers giving it loads. Great craic.

The low turn out for the Irish election is worrying. Regardless of political viewpoints it’s something I hope the next dáil considers carefully. A disengaged electorate is dangerous. We saw during the referenda that the Irish public do engage in politics when they feel it’s relevant to them.

It’s election day in Ireland. Thankfully there’s less of a far right movement but you can see flavours emerging. This leaflet from an independent candidate through my door for instance!

McGregor case jury awards Nikita Hand nearly €250k A woman who accused mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor of raping her in a Dublin hotel has won her claim against him for damages in a High Court civil case.
