Does it have enough single-player content to justify getting it, as someone who likes the Utawarerumono characters (and plans on eventually playing ToHeart and White Album), but hates playing fighting games multi-player?

True, but some of them were really bad. Like, how the fuck do you get "Ass Tray" out of "Astray", when the later is literally a real world word? 🤣

Yeah, it really wasn't bad enough to hinder my enjoyment too much, and I do think a lot of the lines were still fun and charming, but it's a definite step down from Xseed and NISA.

It was mostly the inconsistencies with established terms and pronounciations that bothered me 😂

I'd be fine with something along the lines of "Exploration platformer", as that would technically be the most accurate, but I'm also perfectly fine with Metroidvania, since I've been using it for ages at this point.

See, I actually kinda preferred it in Daybreak II, because at least there you can use arts if you're against a tanky enemy, and that helps keep it a bit more fluid.

Though I do agree transitioning from action combat into full burst is awesome 😂

It may be a skill issue thing, but in most vania games, I can get by not being great by relying on RPG elements, which Silksong simply doesn't let you do, as character progression is very minimal until Act 2, and even then, you barely get enough to keep up with the ever increasing difficulty.
