Finnish government prepares to close the rest of the border with Russia, according to Ilta-Sanomat newspaper.

”It’s clear that Finland wants to give Russia a very clear and strong message. We’re not going to watch Russia’s hybrid influencing”, a source tells IS.

Russia's hybrid warfare continues at the FI border. RU officials actively escort people to the Salla border crossing and close the gates behind them.

According to FI border official, the people who arrived today, have more ambiguities and their nationalities are under investigation.

Today a FI border official told the press, that the Russian officials pushed a group of people to the border zone and then closed the Russian border. The media reported that some in the group acted aggressively towards the RU officials. They don't want to come to Finland, they're forced.

Originally the Russian officials sent and transported the third country asylum seekers to the most popular and biggest FI bordercrossings. They were closed this weekend. However the RU FSB is now sending and transporting the asylum seekers through Vartius, a smaller crossing.

Hundreds of asylum seekers have gathered to Kostomuksha, Russia, located 35 km east from Vartius, the southernmost FI bordercrossing, which is still not closed. They are expected to approach Vartius the following days. Source: Iltalehti, who has published photos of the asylum seeker groups in Russia
