Cosmically, there is something very darkly funny about spending an entire decade of American politics obsessed with repudiating the mistakes of the Iraq War, and then immediately doing it again at the first opportunity, but with even less justification, planning, strategy, or foresight.

I fully recognize that I'm an idiot, but its still a mystery as to why there are so many supposedly educated people who are significantly dumber than I am.

And when you point this out, some get mad at you. Because it goes against their way of thinking. It should be Trump, republicans, rightwing etc bad, dems good. The problem in U.S. is way deeper than that, that's why they can have wars what has something like 20% approval amongst Americans.

Democrats are going to fund and support this war. Like every enabling and collaborative stunt they pull, this is yet another opportunity to recognize they aren’t an opposition party but a captured group that serves the interests of the same wealth and oligarchical classes as the Republicans.

Yeah I don't have any faith in them taking the necessary corrective actions either.
