The fact that I can discover it so easily is one thing: I was looking at the wikipedia page for one of the members of Tír na nÓg and this is one of the albums he produced. The fact that I can see that and within minutes listen to it is something else.

I love the modern era of music where I can find out about an album, see that it's supposedly in the top 100 rarest records, and then just listen to a digital copy.

If anyone is interested I made a list of my top 10 folk albums from 1965-1974

Considering it was first issued in 2004 I wonder how much it influenced my primary source for the British folk underground, Electric Eden by Rob Young.

Oh, it's completely new to me I've just been listening to this kind of music for the past two months and I'm impressed by the selection. Especially that recording of Nottamun Town by Oberon, really good pick.
