I've returned to this app to share a poem close to my heart. Depression is kicking my arse today so I did something productive with it.

For even in shadows, where the heart feels confined,
There’s strength in the struggle, a resilience to find.
With each step I take through the murk and the haze,
I’ll weave through the darkness and learn to embrace.

The clock ticks in rhythm, but time feels so slow,
A tide that keeps rising, where I’m lost in the flow.
Yet in this dark maze, I search for a thread,
A flicker of hope, where the light might be shed.

It dances like smoke, elusive and sly,
A weight on my chest as the moments pass by.
With each fleeting smile, it pulls at my seams,
A jigsaw of sorrow, unraveling dreams.

A character limit, a cruel little snare,
Trapping my thoughts, it just isn’t fair.
Ideas bursting, but I can’t let them flow,
In this tiny space, my passion won’t grow.

Roses are red,
The sky is so blue,
I’m starting fresh,
With an account that’s new.

A clean slate ahead,
A place to be me,
I’ll post what I want,
And set my thoughts free.

Here’s to new vibes,
And connections to make,
