A U.S. official said American military strikes on Iran were underway.
Remember when Congress authorized the use of force against Iran?
Me neither.
Any U.S. attack on Iran would violate U.S. and international law.

I don't know, maybe it's because I'm a big Carl Sagan fan but I'm super dismayed out how many people these days seem to think that Nuclear Weapons are fine. And not, you know, a completely insane way for us all to live.

Highly effective and so refreshing and Labour could learn a lot from Polanski in this regard. Take the attack to the Faragists - don't let them get away with it.

Quite something that the fact 70% of voters seem to have rejected insular nationalism, out and out racism and the removal of workers rights doesnβt even seem to have occurred to Reform.
Long way to go, but still think Iβm right in thinking the chances of Farage in No 10 remain non-existent.

Chris Mason on the BBC's Gorton and Denton by-election 'Newscast' suggesting that Reform's massive defeat is somehow still good for them because they collectively (alongside the Greens) got such a large section of the vote, like in Caerphilly with Plaid.
I'm not sure that's how elections work...
Greens now have 5 MPs.
Reform has 8 - but four of those are Tory defections who were not elected on a REF ticket..
Bet Jenrick and Braverman are feeling a little sick this morning.
Now watch the billionaire media throw all the dirt it can at the Greens, who could thwart its dream of a Farage government.

Now there is hope! It's no longer a choice between grim and grimmer. We can vote for who we want and win. Anywhere.
It's just one constituency, but the Green victory in Gorton and Denton is an electric shock to our political system.
"Ministers need to wake up."
Indeed. Some shift away from the exceptional levels of overseas recruitment 21-24 was natural/desirable.
But current "strategy" - no new visas and making life as unpleasant as possible for migrants already here - is madness.

The Green victory in Denton is the result which will have the biggest effect on Labour, far more so than a Reform win.
The blithe assumption progressives have nowhere else to go has been proved catastrophically wrong.
