You can finally experience the full story that I wrote so many years ago! I'm so proud of that hard work, and it's so crazy to think that it's finally out in the world and I can talk about it! I should do an AMA or something...

Sometimes I'm jealous of people at the office who buy hot, delicious restaurant food daily for lunch, but I'm ALWAYS satisfied eating the sandwich I made using ingredients I picked--including vegetables we grew--on sourdough my partner baked. 🥪❤️

I tried to think of a witty response, but my anxiety wouldn't allow it, so I'll be sincere instead. This sounds like an absolute dream, and I will try harder than I have on any other application to show that I'm worthy of an interview. In any case, I hope you guys find what you're looking for ❤️

Haha yeah I own five of them, not all of which are in working order (yet!) and I still find myself looking for more.

I'm trying it out for my novel's rough draft because I find that I get too distracted on a computer and lose my train of thought; or I overthink everything, then delete and rewrite the same sentence over and over. This helps me push forward and get all my thoughts onto the page.

I was one book shy of my reading goal in 2024 (I underestimated how huge Dune is), though I'd guess that I spent more time reading in 2024 than in past years, which was the *actual* goal anyway. I'm excited to continue the trend and get back to reading The Expanse.

I tried narrating my actions aloud the other day to see if it would help me think of how to write more descriptive scenes and now I'm upset I never thought of it before. Also it just helped me focus and not stress about everything else going on. Highly recommend. #writers #authors #writing

FYI one of the best science fiction and time travel stories I've ever read is currently $3 on Kindle - Recursion by Blake Crouch

Drafting on a typewriter was everything I hoped it would be: tactile, focused, satisfying, and imperfect in the best way. Instead of feeling like I lacked options, I felt free from their burden. I cannot recommend it enough.
