Oh I got hit by Hypnosis four times in a row by Agatha and I was mad. Kanto RNG has always been something else. And don't even get me started on Poison (status effect).

During the last few hours of my FireRed playthrough, I was getting crit by everything. One of my attempts at Lance was ended by a crit from his Dragonite that I had lowered the attack stats of and everything.

What do you mean Pokopia is the highest rated Pokemon game on Metacritic ever? Not that I pay attention to that, but that's crazy?

I know it's been talked about before, but Professor Oak is unbelievably awful to Blue. I beat FireRed two days ago and I'm still not over Blue losing his Champion title immediately after gaining it and then getting berated by his grandfather immediately after THAT.

I'm feeling lightheaded and I can't tell if it's because I'm sleep deprived, my blood pressure dipped too low, I'm getting sick, or all of the above. 💀

It's so awesome how we went from a Monolith Soft brochure that left out Xenoblade X to a Monolith Soft brochure that is entirely Xenoblade X themed.

I've been trying to find Hisuian Qwilfish in Legends Z-A forever and I just got a Special Scan that specifically features it omg yessssssss!

I just remembered that last night I dreamt that they ported Xenosaga 1 and only Xenosaga 1 to the Switch. It was absolutely diabolical work.

I know recency bias is one heck of a drug but I truly think the Winds and Waves reveal trailer might be my favorite main series Pokemon game reveal trailer of all time. Everything about it is stellar. This might even be the first time that I'm sold on a version without having seen the legendaries.

We need to bring back Pokemon ORAS. The Ms. Wavychu haters should experience Cosplay Pikachu.

Horribly failed all of today's Xeno Series Heardles except the Single Game challenge that featured Pied Piper, which I got on the first try. I have never played Pied Piper.

I also hope Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald make it onto the Switch. I have played them because I emulated them a lot when I was a young teen but I've never owned them. I would buy one of them on the Switch if given the chance.

I've beaten Pokemon FireRed for the first time ever! FRLG were the only Pokemon games I had never played to completion. I'm glad I finally got around to rectifying that. This game, while not my favorite, was fun, and I'm glad it made it onto the Switch. I think I've made some peace with Kanto.

Ended up not posting much today because I spent most of the day blasting through FireRed. I made it to the Champion. I realized halfway through the Elite Four that I didn't buy quite enough medicine. I'm having a total Champion Time™.

If there's anything I've learned while playing FireRed, it's that the game will try to poison your Pokemon at every single possible opportunity. I just learned today that Seadra can have Poison Point and it's the only Pokemon in that line that can have that ability. Why.
