there's a madman in the white house, he's illegally started a war, he's offered no explanation to the public other than an insane conspiracy theory that Iran somehow tried to interfere in last year's election, and the opposition leaders are releasing statements full of mixed support and concern

The president didn't bother to make the case for war in a marathon State of the Union address and then he fucked off to his sweaty gilded country club so he could literally phone in an unconstitutional war.

The Constitution clearly gives Congress the power to spend taxpayer funds, and no law allows the president to halt if he feels some US states aren’t being “good stewards” of the money.

In case there’s any confusion on this, the Impoundment Control Act forbids it.

Pulling this shit while the president extracts billions for his family and is currently demanding taxpayers give him $10 billion is pretty goddamned rich.

Democrats should pull the plug on this money the second it expires in 2029, because it’ll probably be the last time they can before its fully entrenched in these economies and constituencies
