The Education Department was created by legislation. If Trump is allowed to repeal it with an executive order, that will be another gargantuan step in his long-time quest to become dictator.

I have a hard time feeling any empathy for anyone who voted for Trump, especially this time, after his literal treason in the aftermath of the 2020 elections.

Why doesn't anyone speak the obvious? Of course Trump is on Putin's side. Putin is the dictator that Trump aspires to be. Trump loves authoritarian governments and hates our democratic allies, so he'll always support the former over the latter.
