The first episode of the Mighty Nein animated series was released early on YouTube and I haven't stopped salivating since. All the little details, the spellcasting, the foreshadowing...I'm so fucking hyped I don't know how to express this enough.

Its so demeaning to the life of work they put into their art, and it must suck to have to argue that your work is in fact your own.

If you can draw, that's really cool, I think you are great.

Each fight, though, has served a purpose - teaching something to either Leon or the reader. I've also omitted a *lot* of battles that were in the game purely to earn the player EXP. That's fun in a videogame, but can be a real pace-killer in writing. I'm trying to be frugal ... it's just on my mind!

Gosh, fight scenes are one of my favourite things to write - but I do worry that there might be too many in my current project. They're not *long* fights, just plentiful. I'm working on chapter four now, and Leon has already seen (brief) combat at least eight times.

It's so discouraging to post art when you see how fucked up the ratio of like to repost is. Just please, do the second click, it's literally few seconds and does so much more for struggling artists.

Sometimes writing is a ton of fun, crafting worlds and stories for others to enjoy. Other times I realize I need to look up how birds procreate because I don't know the first thing about it and it oddly became relevant for a single line.

I don’t have a whole lot of advice for people younger than me but the earlier in life you stop worrying about what other people will think and just wholeheartedly enjoy the stuff you like the happier you’ll be
